We've officially begun the medical transition!

Since January 2021, I have been excited for the day that the Canon City Pregnancy Center will announce this news! Even though it took a bit longer than we were hoping for, the paperwork has been turned into NIFLA (National Institute of Family & Life Advocates) and accepted. The medical transition can take 6-12 months to complete, but CCPC has already completed many required tasks. Last month we celebrated as the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade, and returned the legality of the abortion issue back to the states. We celebrated that people are beginning to see that life is precious, all life. Sadly, Colorado is expected to experience a 7%-14% increase in abortions via abortion tourism. God's plan for the center hasn't wavered, and I don't believe it was any accident that the same month that Roe V. Wade was overturned was the same month that our medical transition journey officially began.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hebrews12:1

With the completion of the medical transition, CCPC will be able to provide in-house ultrasounds, STI/STD testing, and most importantly, the abortion pill rescue program.

Save the date and join us in community family fun!

September is when we normally have our Birdies for Babies Golf Tournament. Unfortunately, this year we've experienced some barriers to that event. So this year, we would like to personally invite you to a community-wide family festival! This event will be friendly to the whole family and will include a 16-team kickball tournament, lunch, a huge kids' fun area with bounce houses and games, a 50/50 horseshoe tournament, and the most fun experience, a PASTOR DUNK TANK!! As we fellowship with the community, we'll be asking "Who is your neighbor?" and invite you to really connect with your neighbors in Fremont County. September 10th, 10 am - 6 pm. Located at Rouse Park in Canon City.
